An expired Polaroid roll is an uncharted world. The emulsion can bring to light the image, a part of it, nothing, empty colors or strange refractions. Eight poses, eight musical improvisations performed, recorded and filmed during the development of the film.

Ma, senza contemplazione non c’è comprensione. E non c’è pace. E ci ferma e si gira su se stessi.
13 walkman danneggiati, funzionanti e 13 cassette. In ogni cassetta un loop unico composto con i suoni dello strumento nel momento in cui si rompe.

The Japanese art of kintsugi teaches us that what breaks can be fixed. And it lives of new beauty. But, without contemplation there is no understanding. And there is no peace. And it stops us and turns on itself.

Il nastro magnetico come le parole. Il registratore, la voce. Il nastro abbandona la guida della bobina e sale sul muro fluttuando come la voce lascia la bocca per diffondersi nell’aria fino all’orecchio e al cuore di chi si mette in ascolto.

Magnetic tape like words. The recorder, the voice. The tape leaves the guide of the reel and rises on the wall floating as the voice leaves the mouth to spread in the air to the ear and heart of those who listen.

Un’opera mastodontica e romantica. 88 giradischi (88 sono le note del pianoforte) su cui sono posizionati 88 vinili, bianchi e neri. Su ogni vinile vengono registrati 20 minuti di suono manipolato della nota corrispondente.
Una volta allestita, l’opera viene suonata in tempo reale dall’artista e la performance registrata.
Installazione completa o divisibile per ottave.
A mammoth and romantic work. 88 turntables (88 are the notes of the piano) on which 88 vinyls, white and black are positioned. 20 minutes of manipulated sound of the corresponding note is recorded on each vinyl.
Once set up, the work is played in real time by the artist and the performance recorded.
Complete installation or divisible by octaves.

Immagina Ravel che incontra Orwell. Un’orchestra da camera composta o una sinfonica, una jazz band o un trio punk-rock.a seconda del pezzo, ogni musicista comparirà in uno dei televisori suonando la propria parte, la musica si diffonderà dagli altoparlanti a valvole dei televisori.
Installazione site-specific.
Imagine Ravel meeting Orwell. A composed chamber orchestra or a symphony, a jazz band or a punk-rock trio. Depending on the piece, each musician will appear on one of the televisions playing their part, the music will spread from the tube speakers of the televisions.

Ma che suono hanno le pagine quando vengono suonate seguendo il filo di note che in ordine traccia la strada fino all’ultima parola della pagina?
