Man/Groove was conceived as an immersive performance and sound installation for OGR in Turin. Intricately weaving together 100 microphones and cables, the installation resembled a mangrove jungle. Functioning as a responsive ecosystem, the work employed granular delays and distortion effects influenced by the environment. Participants engaged in an experiential journey akin to a stroll through untamed nature, surrounded by the unpredictable symphony of the artificially responsive forest. The installation encourages interaction with the surroundings, offering a dynamic encounter with the amalgamation of organic and technological elements. Additionally, three LED screens immerse viewers in a microworld, presenting a dystopian sky crafted from the macroscopic filming of colored cables, creating a multidimensional experience where boundaries between senses are blurred.
